Packers’ Jordan Love could ride last season’s momentum and become a top fantasy QB
Minnesota’s upcoming opponents, Green Bay Packers, have a new full-time starting quarterback in Jordan Love; however, there is no reason to think he cannot at least replicate the numbers that he put up during his first season.

Which showed that he was seventh in the NFL scaling in passing yards with 4,159, second in passing touchdowns with 32 and tied for the tenth position with 11 interceptions while he only threw a single pick in the last eight games of the normal season. He also gained 247 rushing yards, ranking 12 th in the league among quarterbacks, and scored 4 rushing touchdowns tying 7th in the league for quarterbacks.
Not only is Love entering his second season as the starting quarterback, and thus is more comfortable in the offense, but also, the Packers retained the top six wide receivers and the top two tight ends of the last season.
“Oh boy, it is like night and day, it really is,” Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said. ‘Night and day because like last year, going into the draft, we had maybe three receivers on the roster. We had two tight ends on the roster, so it was kind of such a situation that you do not really know where you could go yet. … To what extent can you load on these guys’ plates and enable them to go out and perform?
“Now we all have a year experience under our belts let’s just go ahead, it’s been great to just know what these guys are good at, what they need to improve on and just allow them to go ahead and be the best players they can be. ”
Specifically, after the Green Bay Packers lost to the Las Vegas Raiders and stood at 2-3, the cornerback Jaire Alexander said that while the Packers’ offense was still searching for its game, the defense needs to come up large. Love and the offense did not seem to gel and function at optimum level, till about half the season was over, the Packers were 3-6 and through nine games, Love was threatening to start only one season if the Packers had a shot at a quarterback in the top three, but he exhibited that he was franchise type quarterback starting with couple of plays that he made against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Week 10 loss.
After that, three victories in a row against the Los Angeles Chargers, Detroit Lions, and Kansas City Chiefs, followed by the second half of the season that proved him to be one of the most valuable NFL quarterbacks. Love continued his authoritative ways into the playoffs for a wild-card upset of the Dallas Cowboys.
Love is in line for a massive payday based on what he showed, and Packers’ hope it’s only up from here.
Not only has Love expanded off the field, the expansion on it can bring about an even increased level of performance during the season. Collecting passing yards, passing touchdowns, rushing yards, as well as the rushing touchdowns equal to 4500 yards and 35 TDs, 300 yards, and 5 TDs correspondingly isn’t incredible. Love is not going to be the rushing threat like Jackson or Allen but his good arm and chemistry with the passing targets that will remain intact in the team will enable him to be one of the top fantasy quarterbacks by the 2024 season.
